Wilkie Creek is an open cut thermal coal mine located in the Surat Basin in Queensland, between the towns of Dalby and Chinchilla 250km west of Brisbane.
Who is New Wilkie Energy
New Wilkie Energy Group Limited (NWE) is the parent company for the Group. NWE holds the Wilkie Creek coal mine, the Corvus Coal metallurgical coal project and the Horse Creek EPC’s. NWE also holds interests in a large renewable development project to be constructed in association with mining activities at the Wilkie Creek coal mine. NWE intends to be a platform for sustainable energy through the development of coal mining assets in conjunction with renewable energy projects.
